I recently dined here, and while the buffet price was a bit on the expensive side, the experience was well worth it. This hibachi-style restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, all fresh and flavorful. The hibachi station was a highlight, with chefs preparing dishes to perfection. I loved the diverse options, which ranged from sushi to traditional Asian-inspired dishes, catering to many tastes. The dessert section was a pleasant surprise, especially the tart, it had a perfect balance of sweetness and texture, leaving a memorable finish to the meal. The service was attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and lively. If you’re willing to spend a bit more for quality and variety, Sumo Asian Buffet & Grill is definitely worth a visit!

It excels at being a fun, accessible dining experience where everyone leaves full. Just remember that the highest quality items are usually found at the made-to-order stations, and plan your visit for busy times to ensure the freshest buffet rotation. > Must-Try: The Hibachi Grill and any seasonal seafood available. > Tip: Check local pricing, as dinner and weekend rates are substantially higher than weekday lunch.
There is plenty of seating, so you'll have a very short wait 7-10 minutes max. Super friendly staff and very helpful. The sushi bar had just about every kind you can think of. The seafood section and dessert section had plenty of options. The parking lot is free and massive. If you do have mobility devices, don't worry because both the tables and buffet area have enough space to allow for wheelchair or walkers to easily maneuver around.
The squid isn't tasty, but it's delicious at King Buffet. The mussels aren't tasty, they're bland, they added oil but didn't add garlic or parsley. The mussels under the cheese are delicious. The salad with raw fish is delicious. The mushrooms are very tasty. For the first time, I'm eating chowder soup that isn't tasty, it doesn't have any sea flavor at all. The chicken wings are juicy, but they forgot to add salt. The shrimp with black pepper are tasty, not spicy. The oranges are sweet, although the skin is greenish. The pineapple is also sweet.
This all you can eat Asian buffet been out there in the corner of Victory and Ovensmouth Ave as long as I remember while almost all businesses around it have been gone out of business or sold. It’s a favorite spot for local foodies. More options on weekends and more expensive as well. To discover more, follow our instagram @gemislist
